All Oakside movement kits include the appropriate Polished brass weight shells & fillings, the cable pulleys and the gongs, a drawing showing the primary 'movement, dial and pendulum' accommodation dimensions and a template for positioning the mounting holes required to fit these items into your clock - on the Spares & Accessories page you will find sets of the special brass rebate hinges, mortise locks, escutcheons, keys and brass screws, as seen on our clocks and a number of replacement parts for Kieninger movements. The quoted kit price includes delivery to UK & Republic of Ireland addresses! You may collect pre-ordered/paid kits and save the postage.

You are invited to phone Frank to discuss your project prior to ordering a kit. If you are designing your own clock or are intending to modify an existing design, we suggest that you pre-order your Movement set with a deposit of £25. We will then send you the Kieninger installation drawing so that you can ensure that all parts will fit and operate without later cabinet alterations.

For Grandfather Clocks around 80 inches high and taller we suggest a 116cm movement with a 280mm width dial.

For Grandmother Clocks between 60 & 70 inches tall consider a 100 or 93cm pendulum Movement with a 250mm width dial.

For Granddaughter clocks we suggest a 93 or 80CM pendulum Movement and a 200mm width dial.

For Laterndluhr Style Large Wall Regulators consider the RWS, RSB & RS 116cm Movements
